Ben has a growing practice as an arbitrator in shipping, commodities and insurance disputes, complementing his practice as a leading junior in those fields. He has acted as arbitrator or counsel in proceedings under the rules of a number of different international organisations including the LMAA, the LCIA, the ICC and the SIAC. He offers a knowledgeable and fair approach, combined with the diligence and fast turn-around times expected of junior counsel. 

In 2024, he became a member of the Baltic Exchange.
